1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Videin ("the Service"), operated by Videin ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Videin is an AI-powered platform that generates short-form videos from text topics. The Service uses artificial intelligence to create scripts, audio narration, subtitles, and compose final video files. Videos are generated on our servers and delivered to users via cloud storage.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address or Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Credits and Payments

  • The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each video generation consumes one (1) credit.
  • New users receive a welcome bonus of two (2) free credits upon registration.
  • Additional credits can be purchased through our payment providers (PayPal, LemonSqueezy).
  • All purchases are in United States Dollars (USD).
  • Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
  • Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Existing purchased credits will not be affected.

6. Content Policy

You agree not to use the Service to generate content that:

  • Promotes violence, hate speech, terrorism, or discrimination.
  • Contains sexually explicit material or pornography.
  • Involves child exploitation or endangerment in any form.
  • Promotes self-harm or suicide.
  • Contains instructions for manufacturing drugs, weapons, or explosives.
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Violates any applicable law or regulation.

We employ automated content filtering to detect and block prohibited topics. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

7. Video Storage and Retention

  • Generated videos are stored for thirty (30) days after completion.
  • After the retention period, videos are automatically deleted from our servers.
  • Users are responsible for downloading their videos before the retention period expires.
  • We are not responsible for videos lost after the retention period.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the topics and ideas you submit. The generated videos, including AI-generated scripts, audio, and visual compositions, are licensed to you for personal and commercial use upon generation. We retain no ownership rights over the content generated for you.

The Videin brand, logo, website design, and underlying technology remain our exclusive intellectual property.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, abuse of the Service, or any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your access to the Service and any remaining credits will be forfeited. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international commercial law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
